MY TIME AT RMIT
Since high school, RMIT has always been my top choice for higher education. I viewed it as a dynamic and diverse environment where knowledge sharing is actively encouraged, and where students are constantly exposed to new ideas and experiences. To me, RMIT represents a prestigious institution for individuals seeking growth in an international setting.
What impressed me most was RMIT’s learning environment. The university provides extensive access to knowledge resources, including comprehensive databases, modern technologies, and a strong support system of lecturers and tutors. This level of support creates an environment where students are empowered to succeed. Even as a Business student, I was inspired by how students in other disciplines, such as Communications and Design, were equipped with advanced tools to explore their creativity fully.
Throughout my studies, I was exposed to diverse business contexts through practical experiences, including company and factory visits. I also had the opportunity to participate in the Common Purpose Program in Singapore, where I connected with peers from different backgrounds, visited notable sites such as the National Stadium, and engaged with professionals from leading organizations. This experience remains one of the most memorable highlights of my academic journey.

I was also impressed by how RMIT’s internal student communities are structured and consistently developed. What distinguishes RMIT from other universities is their strong emphasis on the overall student experience, not just academics. The university actively supports student clubs and creates numerous opportunities for extracurricular involvement through a wide range of both indoor and outdoor events.
I was particularly struck by the confidence and professionalism of the students. Despite their young age and limited formal work experience, many demonstrated exceptional capabilities in event organization and project execution. Their ability to manage responsibilities efficiently and deliver high-quality outcomes was remarkable.
As I became more involved in the club community, I realized that this level of capability stems from RMIT’s environment, one that provides continuous opportunities while empowering students with the space and trust to grow.
My time at RMIT was both enjoyable and transformative. It was a completely different experience from high school and played a key role in building my confidence, allowing me to become more proactive and prepared for my career. I had numerous opportunities to develop my presentation and public speaking skills, while being introduced to new concepts and theoretical frameworks that I later applied effectively in my work.
I also strengthened my communication abilities, learning how to convey ideas clearly through both written and verbal formats. Overall, RMIT equipped me with a strong professional foundation before graduation, along with valuable experiences that I would not have gained elsewhere.

Above all, what I value most about my time at RMIT is the people. The lecturers and staff at RMIT were exceptionally supportive and approachable to me, fostering a welcoming environment from the moment I enrolled and playing a key role in my academic and personal development.
Second of all is the friendships I have built along the way. During my studies, I formed meaningful connections with extraordinary individuals - many of whom have become lifelong friends. These relationships have supported me through both challenging and defining moments, and I consider them one of the most important outcomes of my university experience.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to study at RMIT, as it brought these people into my life, individuals who continue to inspire and grow alongside me, both personally and professionally. Reflecting on this journey, I feel a strong sense of completeness, knowing that these connections would not have been possible without RMIT.
I will always take pride in being an RMIT student and will continue to cherish the memories, lessons, experiences, and opportunities I gained during my time there.

My journey at RMIT has been a defining chapter in shaping who I am today. Beyond academic knowledge, it provided me with the confidence, perspective, and relationships that have influenced both my personal and professional path. From developing leadership through student activities to building lifelong connections, each experience contributed to my growth in meaningful ways.
These foundations continue to guide me as I lead and grow within the logistics industry, and they are also what drive my aspiration to pursue further education. I carry forward not only the skills and knowledge gained, but also the values of adaptability, collaboration, and continuous improvement that RMIT has instilled in me.
